Description
Deutsch: Die Einheit steht aufgerüstet am Reinigungsbahnsteig in der Zugbildungsanlage Nord; obwohl alle Einzelfahrzeuge dieser Einheiten einzeln betriebsfähige und freizügig kuppelbare Regelfahrzeuge darstellen, werden sie vom Betreiber trotzdem als Triebzüge behandelt.
Warum die Einzelfahrzeuge trotzdem mit Schraubenkupplungen und Seitenpuffern verbunden sind, obwohl das Umstellen auf Mittelpufferkupplungen ohne Eingriffe in die Fahrzeugstruktur möglich ist, sogar noch den Spurkranz- und Radsatzverschleiß verringern und die Laufsicherheit verbessern würde und im Güterverkehr die Umstellung vorbereitet wird, wissen die Verantwotlichen bei DB Fernverkehr wohl selber nicht. Diese Einheiten wären ein ideales Objekt für eine Dauerbetriebserprobung der auch für den Güterverkehr vorgesehenen Kuppelköpfe, abgesehen von der dort vorgesehenen obenliegenden Kontaktaufsätze. Seitliche Kontaktaufsätze für Wagen mit Wagenübergängen sind jedoch seit Jahrzehnten in Betrieb und vergleichsweise problemlos.
