Description
English: The Odeon of Herodes Atticus, also called Herodeion (Ηρώδειον) is located on the southwest slope of the Acropolis of Athens, Greece. It is a stone Roman theater structure that was completed in 161 AD. After the Greek War of Independence, the Kingdom of Greece started excavation works in 1848; the theater was restored using Pendelic marble in 1950s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odeon_of_Herodes_Atticus
