Nederlands: De Takeuchi-missie, het eerste Japanse gezantschap in Nederland, wordt in juni 1862 ontvangen in de tuin van het gebouw van de Nederlandsche Handelmaatschappij (NHM) te Amsterdam. Deze afbeelding is afkomstig uit het Nederlandsch Magazijn, waarin in 1862 een artikel verschijnt over Japan en het gezantschap dat Nederland bezoekt.
English: The members of the Takeuchi delegation, the first Japanese mission to the Netherlands, are being entertained in the gardens of the Nederlandsche Handelmaatschappij-NHM (Dutch Commercial Company) in Amsterdam. This picture originates from the Nederlandsch Magazijn, the Dutch magazine in which a feature on Japan and the Japanese mission visiting the Netherlands appeared in 1862.
