Description
Français : Peinture, huile sur toile réalisé par le peintre français Jean Baptiste au XVII. La peinture montre une jeune mariée de la ville de Tanger au Maroc. La mariée porte un Caftan marocain bleu, recouvert d'un tissu transparent blanc appelé "rda" qui est d'origine Amazigh (berbère). Sur sa tête, elle porte l'emblématique Chedda tangéroise et porte au cou, les bijoux traditionnels.
English: Painting, oil on canvas made by the French painter Jean Baptiste in the 17th century. The painting shows a young bride from the city of Tangier in Morocco. The bride wears a blue Moroccan Caftan, covered with a white transparent fabric called "rda" which is of Amazigh (Berber) origin. On her head, she wears the emblematic Tangier Chedda and wears traditional jewelry around her neck.
