| Description |
Français : Statue en pied, en armure, érigée le 22 août 1899 par Albert & Berthe MALLOUE. Cette statue de Jeanne d'Arc, est située entre Void-Vacon et Sauvoy, au lieu-dit "le Chalet", sur l'ancienne voie romaine n°7, baptisée à cet endroit "chemin de la pucelle", car selon la tradition, Jeanne d’Arc aurait suivi cette route pour se rendre à Chinon y offrir ses services à Charles VII.
Ceci est rappelé dans l'inscription figurant sur le socle de la statue : Ci passa en l'an de notre Seigneur 1428 le 13ème jour du mois de fébvrier JEHANNE DARC quant s'en aloit bouter au nom de Dieu les anglais fors dou royaulme de France. (1428 selon l'ancien calendrier où l'on comptait l'année à partir de la fête de Pâques. Selon le calendrier utilisé actuellement, où le changement d'année se fait au 1er janvier, cette date correspond à 1429.) la statue ,qui à été érigée et payée à l' époque par des anciens propriétaires du domaine de béhilleux est un bien privé et se trouve à l' intérieur d'une propriété privée! |
