| Description |
Polski: Zderzenie czołowe dwóch spalinowych zespołów trakcyjnych MR/MRD należących do DSB w okolicach stacji Jelling, 1 sierpnia 1995. Polski: Jelling-ulykken skete den 1. august 1995 hvor to regionaltog litra MR stødte frontalt sammen i sydenden af Jelling station. Ingen personer omkom ved ulykken - men 54 blev kvæstet - heraf flere alvorligt (19 personer blev indlagt og 35 personer behandlet på skadestuer). De to regionaltog var så sammenfiltrede, at de måtte skæres op på stedet for at blive fragtet bort.
Strækningen mellem Vejle og Herning er enkeltsporet. Togene fra hhv. Vejle (Fredericia) og Herning skulle planmæssigt krydse hinanden på Jelling station. Toget fra Herning satte i gang uden at have fået tilladelse til dette og ramte det indkørende tog fra Fredericia (Vejle). Togenes hastighed var ca. 50 km/t. |
