Description
The Dagmar was a tug of 7 NRT/13 GRT built in Copenhagen by Burmeister and Wain (yard no. 44), launched and delivered in December 1866. The owners were De Christianshavnske Rederier with partners Julius W. Olsen (2/3) and J.O. Løwe (1/3). Sold in July 1913 to C.A.M. Bloch of Copenhagen. Sold in June 1918 to Karl C. Hansson, Göteborg, Sweden. Further fate unknown. Source: http://www.jmarcussen.dk/maritim/skibsliste/side.php?id=6395 (in Danish). At the 2006 sale, the painting had been restored, but unfortunately now provided with an erroneous title and date.
