Deutsch: "Halbfiguriges Bildnis der Johanna Charlotte von Brandenburg-Schwedt, geborene Prinzessin von Anhalt-Dessau (1682-1750) in der Tracht einer Äbtissin des Stiftes Herford. Die Dargestellte hat den Kopf in den rechten Arm gestützt, hinter dem der Krummstab als Symbol ihrer Stellung erkennbar ist. Auf dem Kopf trägt sie einen kleinen Witwenschleier, über dem blauen Kleide trägt sie am roten Band den Ordensstern des Stiftes. Der Körper wird auf einer Seite von einem Hermelinmantel umhüllt.
Ein vergleichbares Bildnis, das wohl als Vorlage gedient haben könnte, befindet sich im Stiftsarchiv Herford. Leihgabe des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt (KSDW)" |
