Português: José da Silva Castanheiro nasceu em 31 de outubro de 1881 em Santo António dos Olivais, Coimbra, Portugal. Ele se tornou um juiz português naturalizado brasileiro e atuou nos fóruns dos estados do Amazonas, Rondônia e Amapá, no Brasil, entre 1939 e 1951. Durante sua vida em Porto Velho, Castanheiro foi venerável da Loja Maçônica União e Perseverança e um dos fundadores do Rotary Club de Porto Velho. Ele foi casado com Mathilde Eugenia Ferreira Castanheiro.
José da Silva Castanheiro é um exemplo de um indivíduo que fez uma transição bem-sucedida entre culturas e se destacou em sua carreira profissional, contribuindo para a integração entre as comunidades portuguesa e brasileira. |
