Description
Español: Parte del libro "Prontuario de paisajes de 1852" del pintor y calígrafo uruguayo español Juan Manuel Besnes e Irigoyen. 2 litografías en blanco y negro. Las 2 láminas litografiadas aparecen pegadas en el Prontuario de paisajes y corresponden a otros autores. La izquierda en la que se retrata a "Francisco Pizarro", aparece firmada por "A° Carnicero. del Castro" y fue publicada previamente en el tomo III de la serie de libros "Descubrimiento y conquista de la América ó Compendio de la historia general del Nuevo Mundo por el autor del Nuevo Robinson ; traducido del francés, corregido y mejorado por D. Juan Corradi". En litografía de la derecha aparece el escritor español "Fernando de Herrera", firmada por "Manuel Salvador Carmona" y fue publicada previamente en "Retratos de españoles ilustres de los s. s. XVI y XVII; Il. en: Parnaso español. Tomo VII. Madrid : Antonio Sancha, 1773".
