Description
English: Judging tups, Tenbury Show The eventual winner getting a fleece examination at Tenbury Show 2008. This is one of the few shows that has classes for coloured ryeland sheep, a somewhat controversial breed that arose thanks to a decision to breed from some unusual black lambs born near here in the early 1980s. The shades of the wool are very attractive to home spinners. However there are many who consider them a threat to the traditional white fleeced breed. The winning tup was killed in a fight a few days later.
