Description
Deutsch: Das Originalgemälde der 1887 von Julius Preller gemalten Ansicht Dangasts ist verschollen. Die hier abgebildete fotografische Schwarz-Weiß-Reproduktion befindet sich im Nachlass des Vareler Heimatforschers Udo Klün. - Prellers Porträt des Badeortes erfreute sich in seiner Entstehungszeit großer Beliebtheit und wurde im Auftrag der Buchhandlung Bültmann & Gerriets in mehreren Formaten (Quart-, Kabinettformat) und als Ansichtspostkarte reproduziert und vertrieben.
