Description
English: Camp 2 on the Abruzzi ridge of K2. Masherbrum (on the right), Biarchedi (center) and Ghandogoro Ri (center left) against the skyline - these mountains lay south of the Baltoro glacier. Marble Peak is on the far left (the dark rocky walls). The shadows of the three Broad Peak summits (main, central, north - from left to right) are cast on Godwin-Austen glacier and on the slopes of Pastore Peak respectively
Deutsch: Lager 2 auf dem Abruzzigrat des K2. Im Hintergrund rechts der Masherbrum, daneben in der Bildmitte der Biarchedi und links davon der Ghandogoro Ri - diese Berge liegen südlich des Baltoro-Gletschers und zählen zu den Masherbrum Bergen. Die Folgenden zählen wie der K2 zum Baltoro Muztagh: Ganz links (nicht gegen den Horizont) ist der Marble Peak an seinen dunklen Felswänden zu erkennen. Die Schatten der drei Broad-Peak-Gipfel (Haupt-, Mittel- und Nordgipfel - von links nach rechts) werden auf den Godwin-Austen-Gletscher bzw. die Hänge des Pastore Peak geworfen.
