Jyotinagar Ward No. 26 of Chitwan District, meaning it is also called Divya Nagar. The temple of ancient Kalika Devi is located at this place. It is said that the Pandavas built a temple here in ancient times.

English: Jyotinagar Ward No. 26 of Chitwan District, meaning it is also called Divya Nagar. The temple of ancient Kalika Devi is located at this place. It is said that the Pandavas built a temple here in ancient times. There were 4 mounds of earth in this place like stupa. The old name of this place was Ratapur. Earlier, in the year 2024, the temple of Goddess Kalika was small in dome style. Here the tribes of the Tharu community used to worship in the month of Jeth by keeping bhola according to their culture. They used to worship Guru by sacrificing goose, chicken, pigeon, sheep and goat. The ancient idol of Goddess Kalika is kept very safe. Religious Puranas are performed in this religious place every year. So far, 34 Puranas have been completed. Therefore, the goal of the locals is to make this religious site a navy area. Inside the temple, there are idols of various deities on the right and left lines. There is a large statue of Goddess Kalika in the center and a small statue of ancient Goddess Kalika is covered under the same statue. There are 108 Shivalingas in front of Kalika Devi temple. Idols of Lord Shiva, Basaha are addicted. There are mandapas, priest houses, bhajan mandals etc. in the temple premises. This temple of Goddess Kalika is located on 6 kattha 19 dhur land. There is also a museum of the indigenous Tharu community near the temple. The historic Anjana Lake near the temple is on the side of the road. According to the locals, the water of this lake has not dried up till today, and there is a belief that it will not dry up even after drying. The temple committee is planning to make this lake a tourist destination in the future by placing idols of various deities in between. There are plans to build a wall around the lake and 108 streams in the east to protect the lake.
