«Karina Pawlikowski aborde l’éphémérité du vivant par la mise en scène de la figure animalière. Elle questionne le passage de l’état animé à l’état d’inactivité physique et cérébrale, s’intéressant à la subtilité des moments de suspension qui définit cette transformation biologique de l’être. Ses installations, ses performances et ses dessins évoquent la transition entre mouvance et fixité où l’ambiguïté du geste amplifie le tragique de la scène.»
