| Description |
English: Keen of Hamar. I think that this looks like the closest thing to a desert in the British Isles. It is serpentinite, an ultramafic rock of the Unst ophiolite, and although very little can grow in the poor soil, many of the plants which do grow there are rare or unique to Unst. |
