Zijn lijk moest daar twee dagen op de grond blijven liggen, met om zijn nek een bord waarop het opschrift: "Ik mag niet plunderen"
English: Plaque on the spot where the fourteen-year-old Kees Groot was executed by the German Sicherheitsdienst (SD) on November 22, 1944, as punishment for stealing two bags of pudding. His body had to lay on the ground for two days, with a sign on his neck, saying, "I'm not allowed to plunder"
