فارسی: خواف یکی از شهرستان‌های تاریخی و دیدنی استان خراسان رضوی است. این شهرستان در مرزهای شرقی کشورمان با افغانستان مرز مشترک دارد.
شهر نشتیفان در حاشیه جاده قاین واقع شده و دارای آسیاب‌های بادی قدیمی است که با نام آسبادهای نشتیفان شناخته می‌شدند و از بادهای ۱۲۰ روزه سیستان نیرو می‌گرفتند. همچنین قبرستان‌هایی به شیوه مقبره‌های زرتشتیان باستان اطراف شهر را فرا گرفته است. مسجد ملک زوزن تنها بنای آجری به جای مانده از بقایای شهر تاریخی زوزن و یادمانی ارزشمند از شکوه و عظمت این منطقه است. مدرسه غیاثیه خرگرد در مجاورت روستای خرگرد و به فاصله ۵ کیلومتری خواف بر سر راه تایباد واقع است. |
