Kilbourn was in Columbia County, but the meteorite landed a few miles north in the town of Dell Prairie in Adams County WI. Kilbourn was the closest village of any size and so gave its name to the meteorite. Kilbourn is now Wisconsin Dells.
Description Kilbourn fall occurred on June 16, 1911, in Columbia County, Wisconsin. A single stone weighing 772 grams penetrated the roof of a barn occupied by the land owner, William Gaffney. Kilbourn is an H5 chondrite. 1.32 gram partial slice. Ex R. Kempton- NEMS.
