Description
English: King's Meadow, Cruddas Park. The other 1960's tower blocks in Cruddas Park are named for trees 1748126, except this one, which is named after a former island in the Tyne (visible from the block).The island was removed by Lord Armstrong to aid navigation to and from his factory on Scotswood Road http://home.freeuk.net/timarchive/html/body_cruddas_park.htm
