Die 180.01 der kkStB befand sich zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme als Exponat im Eisenbahnmuseum Straßhof, sie befindet sich heute im Südbahnmuseum in Mürzzuschlag. Mit ihrer Konstruktion erbrachte Karl Gölsdorf den Beweis, dass der Bau von Dampflokomotiven mit fünf gekuppelten Achsen in einem starren Rahmen möglich ist.
