Deutsch: Basilika (Klosterkirche)

Die Klosterkirche ist das zentrale Gebäude jeder Abtei. Siebenmal am Tag und einmal in der Nacht versammelten sich die Mönche hier zu Chorgebet und Gottesdienst.

Die monumentale Eberbacher Klosterkirche wurde zwischen 1136 und 1186 in Form einer dreischiffigen romanischen Pfleilerbasilika erbaut.
English: Monastery Church

The church is the central building of each monastery. The monks were required to assemble there seven times during the day and once during the night for choir prayer und a church service.

The monumental Eberbach monastery church was built between 1136 and 1186 in the form of a three-aisled Romanesque pillar basilica.
