Description
Deutsch: Yardang ist der Name von typischen Erosionshöckern in der innerasiatischen Wüste Lop Nur (China). Yardangs sind typisch für Sedimente aus Lockergesteinen.

Hier sieht man eine ähnliche Struktur auf einer Düne der Nordseeinsel Wangooge, direkt am Neuen Leuchtturm: Durch Erosion ist dort der Kamm der seeseitigen Weißdünen herausgeschnitten worden.

Wikipedia: Ein Yardang (oder Jardang, gelegentlich auch Windhöcker) ist eine geomorphologische, tafelförmige Erosionsform in Lockersedimenten (überwiegend in flachgeschichteten lakustrinen Sedimenten).

Dieser Windhöcker liegt im Bereich von einer größeren Dünenbresche.
