• CZ: Václav František Mochan (* 9. března 1896 – 20. srpna 1962). Václav Mochan se narodil v Praze (Musílkova 260/42, 150 00 Praha 5 - Košíře) a mládí prožil v Košířích. Zajímal se od dětství o historii svého rodiště, příležitostně navštěvoval přednášky o historii Smíchova a Košíř a shromažďoval místopisné i historické znalosti jakož i dobové fotografie, které do kroniky Košíř zaznamenal.

From childhood he was interested in the history of his hometown, occasionally attending lectures on the history of Smíchov and Košíře and collecting local and historical knowledge as well as period photographs, which he recorded in the "Košíř chronicle".
