Description
Nederlands: Kunstwerk 'Kundalini' van Jef Van Leeuw voor het Lokaal Dienstencentrum Eigenaard (Koning Boudewijnlaan 80) te Oud-Turnhout.

‘Kundalini’ is een woord uit het Sanskriet dat ‘opgerold’ betekent. De kunstenaar omschrijft zijn werk als volgt: "Dit beeld symboliseert het steeds opnieuw starten, herbeginnen. Zichzelf oprichten na een moeilijke periode. De slang vervelt om nadien met een vernieuwde huid of kracht het leven aan te vatten." Jef Van Leeuw geeft Kundalini een aantal jaren gratis in bruikleen aan de gemeente. Het kijkt uit op de vallei van de AA, de bewoners en bezoekers van Eigenaard en de passerende fietsers en wandelaars. Beeld in Portugees ivoorkleurig marmer, de sokkel in cortenstaal in 8-vorm.
