Description
Deutsch: Prunkstiege im Kunsthistorischen Museum, Wien, Österreich. Im Jahre 1891 fand die feierliche Eröffnung des neuen Museums an der Ringstraße in Wien statt. Dadurch waren erstmals die kaiserlichen Sammlungen unter einem Dach versammelt. Der prachtvolle Monumentalbau von Gottfried Semper und Carl von Hasenauer bildet seit damals den würdigen Rahmen für die von den Habsburgern über Jahrhunderte zusammengetragenen Kunstschätze.
