L'escalier à volée droite ouvre sur la parc par une grande baie vitrée en demi-cercle. Le cache-radiateur est en aluminium comme dans le vestibule Photo Annie Dalbéra Source : La villa Cavrois par Paul-Hervé Parsy, Editions du patrimoine, CMN, 2014 Inaugurée en 1932, la villa de la famille de Paul Cavrois, industriel du textile à Roubaix, a été conçue par l'architecte Robert Mallet-Stevens. Elle a été classée monument historique en 1990. L'Etat l'a rachetée en 2001 et a mené une longue campagne de restauration. L'édifice d'aujourd'hui restitue au mieux ce que l'architecte avait imaginé (extérieur, intérieur et mobilier). La villa incarne dans sa globalité "l'esprit moderne" dont Mallet-Stevens a été l'un des éminents représentants.
