Description Gedenkstein für Hebels Mutter in Lörrach-Brombach. Hier auf der Rückseite des Gedenksteins ist ein Vers aus Hebels Gedicht Die Vergänglichkeit eingemeißelt. „’s chunnt Alles jung und neu, und Alles schlicht sim Alter zue, und Alles nimmt en End, und nüt stoht still.“ (Hochdeutsch: „Es kommt Alles jung und neu, doch Alles schleicht dem Alter zu, und Alles nimmt ein End', und nichts steht still.“ Im oberen Teil hat der Bildhauer Rudolf Scheurer drei wichtige Motive aus Hebels Gedichten als aus dem Stein herausgehauene erhabene Reliefs: "der Denglegeist", "der Mann im Mond" und "der Ätti mit seinem Bueb" eingefügt.[1]
