Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Bardowicker Wall is part of the city defences of the town of Lüneburg, Lower Saxony, Germany. It is an earthen rampart which is supported against the outside by a semi-revetment built of brick and equipped with small gun ports. The rampart is still up to 14 meters high above the dry moat and 9 meters high above the street level behind it.
