Description
English: LG Semiconductor 3DMAX-A (8 MB) video card. It is based on the Chromatic Research Mpact 2 (also known as 3DVA), a programmable VLIW/SIMD media processor, and equipped with RDRAM. For its time, the Mpact 2 is highly integrated and combines 2D/3D video, MPEG1/MPEG2 decoding, audio in-/output with Dolby Digital AC-3 support, fax/modem, MIDI interface and a couple of other functions almost entirely on a single board.
