LAC-repressor dimer bound to operator and the anti-inducer ONPF

Summary[edit]

Description
English: THis image shows the LAC-repressor, which was first isolated by Gilbert and Müller-Hill in 1966. The LAC Repressor became a paradigm for regualted gene expression, as upon binding it inhibits the transcription of the LAC Operon by excluding access of the RNA polymerase.

This work was created by biolution with an own model of DNA in Cinema4D and for the Lac repressor PDB-Code: 1EFA
