Summary[edit]

Description
English: On January 1, 1905, the Los Angeles Herald published a full-page advertisement for Broadway Department Store. This image of five women standing in front of the number "1905" appeared in that advertisement. The large blank space to the lower right originally contained details about prices on various specific items; that information is still available in the uncropped version of this image.
