| Description |
English: Lakes and new bridge, Leigh Lodge I'm not sure what these lakes are for. The current craze for construction of fishing lakes can have a detrimental impact on river water quality if heavily stocked; though in fairness the OS indication of old fish ponds at Leigh Lodge gives it some precedent. Full marks for the bridge - a little 'twee' in its present state - but as it appears to be built of local stone it should weather well. |
