| Description | The grim and grisly past of the site apart, and the merciless afternoon sun beating upon our heads like a drum, some landscaping has been done around the markers. Apart from providing some respite to locals who could relax on benches under the trees, I observed that it also served as the local lovers' garden, though the number of couples was limited due to the time of the day. Here is a small oddly shaped pool near the exit, half in shade and half in that merciless afternoon sun. (Cebu, Philippines, May 2013) |
