| Description |
English: Large block of debris, Egmont Rocks This is at the north-western end of Egmont Rocks, to the west of Houns-tout. Beyond is Egmont Bight and cliffs, with Swyre Head looming large in the distance on the left.
Houns-tout has a cap of Portland Sand and debris from this is abundant at Egmont Rocks, as would be expected. This particular block is Portland Stone from the Portland Cherty Series, higher in the sequence than the Portland Sand which caps Houns-Tout.
