Title
Le Petit Palais
Description
Facade of the Petit Palais during the 1900 Paris World Fair. The Petit Palais had been built especially for the Exposition universelle. During the time of the Exposition, it would house French Art exhibits. It was to serve after the Fair as a museum and art gallery. Architect Charles-Louis Girault conceived it and drew the plans of the building of neo-classical style. This view represents the main facade of the building, which echoed that of the Grand Palais located right across the street.
