Description
Français : Fourgon électrique du Régiment de sapeurs-pompiers de Paris; construit dans les ateliers des pompiers. Avec des batteries Bourquin, Garcin & Schivre de 180 Ah, il parcourit 60 km à une vitesse de 15 km/h. C'était le premier fourgon à incendie du monde avec moteur électrique. Après des essais, la ville de Paris votait un credit pour 5 exemplaires en 1899, livrable en 1900. Ce véhicule a été conçu par le major-ingénieur Arthur Constantin Krebs.

English: Electric van of the Paris Firefighters Regiment; built in the firefighters' workshops. With "Bourquin, Garcin & Schivre" 180 Ah batteries, it travels 60 km at a speed of 15 km/h. It was the world's first fire van with an electric motor. After tests, the city of Paris voted a credit for 5 copies in 1899, deliverable in 1900. This vehicle was designed by Major Engineer Arthur Constantin Krebs.
