Description
Français : Le menhir de Carquitté, du nom du lieu-dit où on le trouve « Carquitté-d'en-bas », est un menhir de granite de taille modeste situé au milieu d'un vaste champ…

Désormais redressé, il mesure 2,30 mètres de haut pour une largeur de 1,60 m. Sa taille hors-sol est de 4,10 mètres de hauteur pour un poids estimé de 10 tonnes.

Comme de nombreux menhirs de cette zone, le menhir de Carquitté de forme conique semble bien être un « menhir indicateur »…

Il a été découvert en 1966 lors de travaux de labour couché sous 30 cm de terre. Il a été redressé sur place peu après par le Service Régional d'Archéologie au titre des interventions de sauvetage.
