Letters written by school age children from Camp Pendleton and addressed to Lieutenant General Walter E. Boomer upon his return from the Persian Gulf. The letters contain art work and references to the Marines' overseas deployments. "Dear Lt. General Boomer, Do you know my dad? He is communication, his name is C.P.L. Rodriguez. If you know I'm his son. My name is Nestor. How are you? I am in Mrs. Swany's class. We are to see you May 31, 1991 at Mrs. Magertie's class. My dad and 11 other dad are going from our class.
