Description
Deutsch: Eine unreife männliche Nordische Moosjungfer (Leucorrhinia rubicunda) im Ahlenmoor, nördliches Niedersachsen. Das Exemplar ist wahrscheinlich erst vor wenigen Tagen metamorphosiert und noch unausgefärbt, alle jetzt gelb erscheinenden Bereiche werden sich noch rot färben.
English: A teneral male of the Northern White-faced Darter (Leucorrhinia rubicunda) in the Ahlenmoor, a peatland in northern Lower Saxony, Germany. Probably the specimen hatched just a few days ago and all areas appearing yellow now will colour themselves still red.
