| Description |
Croissance exponentielle de l'énergie des faisceaux accélérés. Remarque : pour les collisionneurs (qui produisent des collisions entre deux faisceaux de particules), l'énergie indiquée a été recalculée comme si le résultat observé était le produit de la collision de particules sur une cible fixe, ceci afin de pouvoir comparer correctement tous les accélérateurs (voir diagramme de Livingston). Ainsi, par exemple, le LHC produit des collisions entre des protons ayant chacun, en réalité, une énergie de 7 TeV (soit 14 TeV lors d’une collision frontale), alors que la valeur recalculée correspondante dans le graphique est de plus de 10 000 TeV. |
