| Description |
English: Part two of my day at Rhyd Ddu was on the other side of the valley from my morning jaunt. I did plan to get to the outflow of Llyn Cwellyn but the paths on the map beyond the well walked path to the mountain of Mynydd Mawr were too wet and jungle-ified for my liking. As it happened a clearing in the forest provided a perfect platform to see the trains appear from the woodlands south of Waunfawr. I could then watch them pass along the side of the lake to Snowdon Ranger after which they start working hard on the climb to Rhyd Ddu.
