Summary[edit]

Description
English: I used oil color to do this painting, called “The Local Universe Map”. The basic idea behind this painting was to symbolize multiple interpretations of the universe surrounding us. This painting was mainly inspired by the “Density map of the cosmic structure according to the Zeldovich approximation”. It can also be viewed as the neural system, how cells look like through a fluorescent microscope, and so on. To me, it is as if the world is like a fractal; it is self-consistent and very similar at each given scale.
