In Arunachal pradesh, meals are served on a 'plate' made of banana leaves. The region eats pork, fish and pickles in various forms.

Description
English: There are more than 20 tribes and sub-tribes in Arunachal Pradesh. In the nishi tribe, I ate an unusual "bread" called Tasse is a staple food It comes from various sago palms. A long and arduous process of peeling the bark from the palm tree and beating the insides into a pulp, then drying it into flour. Flour is used to bake pancakes or steam them into a paste to be eaten with vegetables and meat.
