Summary[edit]

Description
English: Lock and Industrial Landscape, Stourbridge Canal Stourbridge Top Lock (No. 1) is the first of a flight of sixteen which lower the water level by 145 feet (about 44 metres). A further four locks at Stourton complete the drop to the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal. Here the canal turns right at the white circular container, towards the Delph Locks and Brierley Hill. Straight ahead is the Fens Branch, which is merely a feeder.
