| Description | At a distance one can see three rocks, which the locals have named as 'Tatlong Maria' (three Marias). I was trying to do some research on that, but could find no information about this triple rock formation. What I did discover however is that Tatlong Maria was a movie made in Philippines in 1944. The occupying Japanese forces apparently tried to enforce their own movies on the local public, to promote Japanese- Filipino friendship, but with very poor response. The subsequently hired a local film maker to do the job for them. The film so made was Tatlong Maria. Well, that's just an interesting tidbit, not exactly relevant to this photo set.
