Foley's equestrian statue of Lord Hardinge, Governor-General of India (1844-1848). In the background is the monument to Sir David Ochterlony, the victor of the Anglo-Nepalese War of 1814-1816, since renamed the Shahid Minar, and dedicated to Indian martyrs. |
