Description
English: On August 24th, 2008, some 10,000 people attended a festival-like all-day-long protest in Lorsch (near Darmstadt, Germany). Themed "Bergstraße mobilzes", they rallied for the proposal to put the proposed Frankfurt-Mannheim high-speed railway line in 12-km-long tunnel in the area around Lorsch.
Deutsch: Am 24. August 2008 versammelten sich in Lorsch (bei Darmstadt) rund 10.000 Menschen. Unter dem Motto "Die Bergstraße macht mobil" demonstrierten Sie für die Idee, die geplante Neubaustrecke Rhein/Main—Rhein/Neckar im Bereich von Lorsch in 12 km langen Tunnel zu führen. Das ganztägige Bürgerfest schloss unter anderem Vorträge, Gesprächsrunden und eine Podiumsdiskussion mit ein.
