Object history Louis Gurlitt married Anne Elisabeth (Elise) Saxild in 1837. The painting stayed in the Saxild family, including Hans Wilhelm and Inger Saxild.
Auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen, Bredgade Copenhagen on September 8, 2004 but not sold (Lot 734/1512).
