Description
Deutsch: Der Kopf, der die Göttin Aphrodite oder Persephone darstellen soll, wurde nach der Eroberung Süditaliens - vielleicht aus der antiken griechischen Stadt Lokroi Epizephyrioii - nach Rom gebracht, um den Tempel der Venus Erycina zu schmücken, der zwischen 184 und 181 v. Chr. auf dem Quirinal vor der Porta Collina errichtet wurde.
